There is only one timeframe that matters to a Jehovah's Witness: the present.
"So what if we taught that in 1993? This is our present truth!
Jehovah's Witnesses are being conditioned to think that the organization's history is unimportant, "the way Jehovah is blessing the work now proves that this is his organization".
Here's a question: If you were born into a Catholic family in 1922, lived 70 years and died in 1992, what is your current standing before Jehovah according to JW doctrine? You have been released of your sins because the wages of sin is death and you await a resurrection.
Here's another question: If you were born into a Catholic family in 1922, converted to become a Jehovah's Witness in 1952, lived 70 years and died in 1992, what is your current standing before Jehovah according to JW doctrine? You have been released of your sins because the wages of sin is death and you await a resurrection.
That's right! The preaching work carried out from the 1870s into the 20th century was pointless. All those people are now dead and their status is no different to their comtemporaries of the time.
The past is irrelevant. Only the immediate future matters to Jehovah's Witnesses.

Well You have been misinformed because if you read the bible it clearly states in John 5:28-29 what will happen to those who died faithful to Jehovah and those that did not. It Reads:"28 Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment." So as you can see that at no time was or is the preaching work pointless

The question that you have to ask yourself now.

What should I be doing to get into Gods Kingdom NOW???

Because Jesus Stated that only the people doing the will of his father will be saved at the time of Armageddon.

The scripture found at Matthew 24:36-39 Reads:

36 “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 38 For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; 39 and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be.

Now we all know how many people were saved in the days of Noah only the ones doing God's will.

In view of the present time of things world conditions etc again you should ask yourself what should I be doing to get into gods kingdom??? Because nobody knows the hour that Armageddon will come

I don't see your point.

The preaching is done to separate the sheep from the goats.

The goats do not want the kingdom. They will not get it.

It is not pointless because we are doing what Christ said to do.

What is pointless is this blog.

yay, a new post! finally, lol.

for the pure chance of eternal life it was really wasted time to preach all those years. what the actual difference will be is not described in the bible, even in the light of the watchtower. even a jehovahs witness didnt do everything right... so he will be resurrected for a judgement too?

however its also very true, that witnesses doesnt care for the history of their religion. what is happening "now" is right. when the religions "truths" were lies in the light of today it doesnt matter.
