Simple Questions For Jehovah's Witnesses

If there has always been a faithful and discreet slave on the earth, why didn't Charles Russell just join them?

Why did he go to all the trouble of establishing the Watchtower Society??

    The WTS claim Russell started studying with others when he could not reconcile some doctrines with the Bible. What he taught was not all from him. He gathered information from several sources. Perhaps in that way he did join the faith and discreet slave
