Hypocritical Jehovah's Witnesses Denounce Mennonites for Shunning When They Do The Same Thing!

*** w05 9/1 p. 24 Mennonites Search for Bible Truth ***Certain colonies forbid radio, TV, and music. Some even forbid learning the language of the country they live in. "So as to keep us under their control, the preachers don’t let us learn Spanish," commented one colony resident. Many feel oppressed and live in dread of being expelled from the community—a terrible prospect for one who has never experienced life outside
*** w05 9/1 p. 25 Mennonites Search for Bible Truth ***Later, during a family discussion about the pressure the Mennonite elders were putting on them, one young man spoke up. "I don’t know why we complain about our church elders," he said. "We all know which is the true religion, and we haven’t done anything about it."
*** w05 9/1 p. 25 Mennonites Search for Bible Truth ***A few days later, the church elders came to the home of Johann’s family with an ultimatum for the interested ones: "We heard that Jehovah’s Witnesses visited you. You must forbid them to return, and unless you hand over their literature to be burned, you face expulsion." They had had just one Bible study with the Witnesses, so this presented a formidable test.
*** w05 9/1 p. 26 Mennonites Search for Bible Truth ***"We cannot do as you ask," replied one of the family heads. "Those people came to teach us the Bible." How did the elders react? They expelled them for studying the Bible! This was a cruel blow indeed.
The cart belonging to the colony cheese factory passed by the home of one family without collecting their milk, denying them their only source of income. One family head was dismissed from his job. Another was turned away from buying supplies at the colony store, and his ten-year-old daughter was expelled from school. Neighbors surrounded one home to take away the wife of one of the young men, asserting that she could not live with her expelled husband. Despite all of this, the families who studied the Bible did not give up their search for the truth.
The article goes on to cite how after the Mennonites were shunned, the Witnesses were there to pick up the pieces.
Another notable mention of Menonites in Watchtower literature :
*** w04 6/1 p. 8 ‘Step Over and Help Us’ ***At first, many of the Mennonites did not welcome the visits. But repeated efforts have helped them to appreciate what the Witnesses have to offer.

So, when Jehovah's Witnesses are dismissed from the congregation because of studying with another faith or simply because they no longer wish to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses, their dismissal is warranted. When the Mennonites are dismissed from their congregation because they study with Jehovah's Witnesses, there leaders are acting cruelly. Remember please when a Witness is dismissed from the congregation he is shunned by his family and friends, if he works for a witness he is forced to quit his job and when one spouse is disfellowshipped it sometimes breaks up the marriage. And, they have the unmitigated gall to talk about the Mennonites!

What Happened in 1975?

"One thing is absolutely certain, Bible chronology reinforced with fulfilled Bible prophecy shows that six thousand years of man’s existence will soon be up, yes, within this generation! (Matt. 24:34) This is, therefore, no time to be indifferent and complacent. This is not the time to be toying with the words of Jesus that “concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Matt. 24:36) To the contrary, it is a time when one should be keenly aware that the end of this system of things is rapidly coming to its violent end. Make no mistake, it is sufficient that the Father himself knows both the “day and hour”!" - The Watchtower, "Why Are You Looking Forward to 1975?", August 15, 1968

Benefits of Being One of Jehovah's Witnesses

1. Jehovah's Witnesses can count the time they share their faith with nonbelievers door-to-door or with young children, thus proving to God, in actual hard numbers, how worthy they are to have everlasting life.
2. Jehovah's Witnesses are encouraged not to attend college, which promotes independent thinking and is controlled by demons. They are happy to get a good job as a janitor or a window washer.
3. Jehovah's Witnesses get to celebrate the birth of a child but not the anniversary of the birth. They also do not have to worry about birthdays, holidays and Christmas, all of which are pagan and controlled by demons.
4. Jehovah's Witnesses do not pass a collection plate at their meetings like the demonized churches do. Instead there are collections boxes in their Kingdom Halls and Assembly Halls, and they are often reminded from the platform and in their literature not to forget to contribute. They are also urged to put in their wills that when they die, their house, CD's, jewelery, life insurance, and cash go directly to the Watchtower Society. The end is fast approaching so their families really have no need for money that should rightfully go to them.
5. Jehovah's Witnesses do not celebrate holidays so they do not have to be with their families during these special times to enjoy each other's company and eat the cookies, turkey, ham, pies, and other such food.
6. Because Jehovah's Witnesses are the only true Christians on earth, we do not have the problems that other churches have with broken families, adultery, fornication, pedophiles, over drinking, and gossip.
7. Jehovah's Witnesses do not have to worry about giving food, shelter and clothing to the poor and needy in our community because we give them the Truth which will enable them to live forever in a paradise earth.
8. Jehovah's Witnesses are in close contact with God as he speaks to them through the Faithful and Discreet Slave and through the Watchtower.
9. Jehovah's Witnesses alone will live in Paradise where there will be no cars, TVs, computors, radios, theaters, washing machines, clothes dryers, refrigerators, stoves, airplanes, electric lights, or malls to buy or clothes. Just miles and miles of garden and lions to pet.
10. Jehovah's Witnesses go to a summer District Assembly vacation every year, at the same city every year and have a picnic at their seats during the sessions and then stay at the fine hotels that they are told to stay in.
11. Jehovah's Witnesses know the true meaning of the words soon, near, very soon, very near, so close, just around the corner, shortly, near future and rapidly approaching.
12. Jehovah's Witnesses do not have to worry about getting old or having a retirement plan. See No. 11 above.
Hopefully, now you can understand the many benefits of being a Jehovah's Witness.

Things about Jehovah's Witnesses That Make You Go Hummmm......

When individuals leave the WT organization for conscience reasons, it is evidence that God is shepherding and protecting the flock by doing a sifting work. When people leave another Christian religion it is evidence that the religion is morally corrupt and unable or unwilling to provide spiritually for their members.
When a Christian from another denomination lies, he is acting according to his own disposition being from the father of the lie. When a Jehovah’s Witness lies, he is proving his loyalty to Jehovah and fulfilling his sacred obligation to engage in spiritual warfare.
During times of rapid growth the organization claims Gods approval for the harvest. During times of little or negative growth, the organization prints that this is evidence that the end is near because it appears that the harvest work is almost over.
When a Jehovah’s Witness is martyred, it is seen as following Christ’s example and fulfillment of Scripture. When a Christian of another faith is martyred it is seen as a misguided, albeit admirable exercise in a form of faith but proving false to its source.
When the organization prophesies falsely it is due to man's imperfection and an eagerness to see the new system. When another faith prophesies falsely it is proof that they are a false prophet in fulfillment of Christ’s words about the presence of many false prophets during the last days.
When other Christian faiths experience growth it is because the Devil is misleading the entire inhabited earth. When Jehovah’s Witnesses experience growth it is undeniable evidence that Jesus is actively leading the organization.
When other religions are exposed as fraudulent and a menace to society and they lose certain privileges or status within a particular context, it is because God uses the governments as his executioner of justice. When the Jehovah’s Witnesses are exposed as fraudulent and a menace to society and they lose certain privileges or status within a particular context, it is because Satan owns all the governments; else how could he have offered all of them to Jesus as a temptation?
When the Catholic Church engages in protecting pedophile priests by hushing up the matter it is evidence that they are a filthy Harlot. When Jehovah’s Witnesses don’t notify police of charges of child molestation it is because of their willingness to allow Jehovah to handle the matter in His due time.
Jehovah’s Witnesses claim to have no clergy and hence are totally unlike Christendom’s rulers who get special reverence and lord it over their brothers. When asked why they don’t report criminal charges to the police they claim it is because it's a perversion of the clergy/laity relationship.
When one of Jehovah’s Witnesses is unrepentant he is disfellowshipped, branded unfit for association. When the organization is unrepentant of its sins and people find it unfit for association and contentiously leave, it is because they are full of pride and refuse to wait on Jehovah.
When a Christian of another faith celebrates Mothers Day they are following ancient pagan practices and giving undue attention to someone. When Sisters wear a wedding ring which clearly has pagan origins and draws attention to her status, it is evidence of the divinely inspired institution of marriage.
When a Jehovah’s Witness defrauds another Witness, it may be brought before the elders for possible social sanction if guilty. When a Christian of another faith defrauds a Witness he is often times encouraged to sue the pants off him and squeeze him for every dime. When other Churches support the UN it is evidence that the harlot is fornicating with the Wild Beast. When the organization officially agreed to support UN objectives it was because they needed "access to their library".
When a different faith-believing relative shuns their Jehovah's Witness family member, it is fulfillment of Christ’s prophecy concerning the breaking up of families when someone starts to believe in Christ. When a Jehovah’s Witness shuns his different believing relatives, whether they believe in Christ or not, it is seen as an action necessary to keep oneself without spot from the world.
